THE GARZA FAMILY
Volunteers, contractors, and craftsmen worked on the home of Lolly Garza, whose family acts as caretakers for many of the elderly and disabled individuals living in the impoverished Hispanic community of Rancho Vista, TX.
Years ago, Lolly established Red Oak Baptist Mission for children within the neighborhood. While reviving the Garza home, Building Compassion volunteers distributed food with the San Antonio Food Bank and partnered with New Life Christian Center to host a youth Bowling & Pizza Night.
A Vacation Bible School led by First Baptist Church of San Marcos was held in the little mission started by Lolly...Building Compassion provided helping hands.
To further bless the residents of Rancho Vista, volunteers cleared trash from community streets and went door-to-door providing haul-away services.
